Singing Groups
for adults with learning difficulties


YAM singers meet fortnigtly. Singers can join one of two groups: All Together or the Off By Heart Choir.  Those who come to All Together sing familiar tunes and use instruments and props.  Those in the Off By Heart Choir practise songs for performances all around Yorkshire throughout the year. 

Singing mornings are:

  • on fortnightly Friday Mornings
  • from 10:30 to 12:00
  • at West Park United Reformed Church, Spen Lane, Leeds

All participants must register with YAM. 

Charge: £2.50 per rehearsal attended.
Support/care do not pay.

Workshop Mornings
for adults with learning difficulties

Our creative workshops can include craft work and movement in addition to music.  They are developed with input from our clients.  Themes range from drumming or ballet to holidays and market stalls.  Workshops are:

  • on fortnightly Friday Mornings
  • from 10:30 to 12:00
  • at West Park United Reformed Church, Spen Lane, Leeds
All workshop attendees must be registered with YAM.

Charge: £2.50 per workshop attended. Support/care do not pay.

Personalised projects and multisensory sessions

We can provide personalised music projects and themed activities for smaller adult groups.

A recent project for adults was a five-week mutlisensory music club alongside based on last year's multisensory days.  Customers with complex needs met weekly to listen, watch, move, play instruments, sing and interact and make music with accessible instruments and technology.
