for new, different and better ways of teaching and interacting with people with additional needs.

YAMSEN:SpeciallyMusic members pay a discounted entry fee for our workshops.

Bamboo Tamboo
for all ages and abilities

Sat 10 March 2-4pm at
Meanwood Community Centre, Stainbeck Lane LS7

modern bamboo tambooBamboo Tamboo is now routinely used in schools across the length and breadth of the UK.  Based on the Trinidadian tradition of tamboo bamboo, it is one of the most accessible and inclusive of instruments.  Workshop leader Chris Greer will demonstrate how you can use Bamboo Tamboo for children and adults of all ages, abilities and disabilities.

The workshops will include:trinidadian tamboo bamboo players
  • introduction to playing
  • teaching TB and Q&As
  • advanced rhythms and playing with other instruments
Cost is £5 for members and £7.50 for non-members.
